I've been about 50/50 on Reese picks. I either love them or could care less. Not sure how I felt about this one however.
Thriller? Not really.
Mystery? Yeah. Like, what the heck is going on here?
And written in a way that made me want to keep picking it up and figure out what these two girls are hiding.
Will I read it again? Nah. It wasn't that intriguing. Have you ever watched a movie and it was so engaging you were glued to your seat, but if someone suggests watching it again, you can't ever find yourself in the mood for it? Yeah. That's how I felt about this one.
Years later we're sitting in these women's lives, the timeline slips into the past, slips back into the present, their friend dies and they're all over international news... It's a life I never would have had and couldn't remotely imagine.
I guess it's a good thing there are people who can so we can live vicariously through their imaginations.
