My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This is Rollins' eighth book in the Sigma Force series. I'm still hooked. We continue to see how the shadow organization known as The Guild is wrecking havoc all over the world and more of their deeper and nefarious plans.
Borrowed from my library through Hoopla.
Audiobook read by Peter Jay Fernandez.

True 5 Stars
Sigma Force is one of my favorite series, a guilty pleasure, known affectionately as "OWMT" or Old White Men Thrillers. Do not mistake this to mean that you have to be some old masc dude to enjoy this series. Rollins has put together a phenomenal ensemble cast in this series and in this installment, the women shine.
It is filled with topics, situations, and environments that women uniquely understand. When the President's daughter is kidnapped, I knew I should not have expected some kind of rehash of "Chasing Liberty" and it definitely wasn't that. If looking for something more along the lines of "First Daughter" starring Mariel Hemingway, you're getting warmer.
But it is far deeper than that, connecting this book to the overall plot of the series starring "The Guild" as the Bad Guys. In this book, we find out
***SPOILER ALERT***
that "The Guild" is the clandestine 'public' name of this shadow organization, while its true name is 'The Bloodline', the title of this installment of the series. It's getting deep and even i get deep pain reading this one. Rollins shared exactly how a woman might feel going through many of these events. Well done, sir.
Notes: This series is still so good. One of my goals this year is to get caught up on it since Rollins is pumping them out about one a year.
